MISSION:
WORKFORCE ALLIANCE
Connecting transitioning service members with the business community
To combat the pressing workforce shortage and drive economic growth, Mission: Workforce Alliance offers a solution by connecting businesses and Transitioning Service Members.
The Bridge For Businesses
Mission: Workforce Alliance (MWA) addresses workforce shortage challenges. The program simplifies the recruitment process, making it more accessible and cost-effective for businesses. Through resources and training offered as part of the program, businesses will better understand and leverage the diverse capabilities and experiences of veteran employees.
This comprehensive approach not only aids businesses in overcoming common hiring obstacles but also unlocks the potential of a highly skilled and adaptable talent pool. When you choose to hire a Transitioning Service Member, you’re giving them a chance to transition into civilian life and embark on a new chapter.
Why is MWA an important program?
Although they recognize the value that veterans bring to the workforce, 36% of employers say recruiting veterans is more difficult than recruiting civilians, particularly at the recruitment and hiring stages. Some of the most cited challenges stem from a lack of knowledge on outreach, affordability, and skills matching.
